### **Dạng 1: Phương pháp tính giá thành toàn bộ (Absorption costing)**

#### **Các bước trong phương pháp tính giá toàn bộ**

#### **Bước 1: Sự phân loại chi phí sản xuất chung về các trung tâm chi phí - Allocation**

- Xác định chi phí trực tiếp của loại chi phí nào thì được phân bổ trực tiếp tới các trung tâm chi phí (**cost units/center)** của chi phí đó.
- **Overheads cost:** những chi phí sản xuất chung nào dễ dàng nhận diện với trung tâm chi phí **(cost centers)** thì được phân bổ tới các trung tâm đó; còn những chi phí không thể được nhận diện với trung tâm chi phí riêng biệt nào thì sẽ được phân bổ tới trung tâm chi phí chung **(General cost center)**

**Những cost item và cost center thường xuất hiện trong đề thi**

#### **Bước 2: Sự phân chia chi phí từ các trung tâm chi phí về các trung tâm chi phí dịch vụ và các trung tâm chi phí sản xuất - Apportionment & Reapportionment**

- **Giai đoạn 1:** Phân chia chi phí chung từ các trung tâm chi phí về các trung tâm chi phí dịch vụ và về các trung tâm chi phí sản xuất - phân chia dựa trên nguyên tắc **phân chia công bằng (Fair basis of apportionment)** 
    - Xác định chi phí chung cho các phòng ban
    - Xác định cơ sở phân chia chi phí
   Các chi phí chung và cơ sở phân chia chi phí thường gặp

- **Giai đoạn 2:** Phân chia lại chi phí từ các Trung tâm chi phí dịch vụ **(Service cost center)** tới các trung tâm chi phí sản xuất (**Production cost center) - Reapportionment** 
    - Xác định phương pháp phân chia chi phí 
          - **Direct method**: Phân bổ toàn bộ chi phí của các service cost center vào các production cost center tương ứng nhưng không phân bổ vào các service cost center khác.
          - **Step down method**: Phân bổ lần lượt các Service cost center vào những cost center có sử dụng chúng kể cả Service cost center khác. Thường sẽ bắt đầu phân bổ từ Service cost center có chi phí cao nhất
          - **Reciprocal/Repeated distribution method**: Phân bổ các Service cost center vào những cost center có sử dụng chúng kể cả Service cost center khác và lặp lại cho đến khi Service cost center không thể phân chia được nữa.
       Thông thường thì doanh nghiệp sẽ sử dụng **Direct method** vì nó dễ dàng và không mất nhiều thời gian như hai phương pháp còn lại.

- - Xác định cơ sở để phân chia chi phí

#### **Bước 3: Phân bổ chi phí vào chi phí sản xuất chung của sản phẩm (thiếu/thừa) - Absorption**

- Phân bổ chi phí sản xuất chung vào chi phí để tính giá thành sản phẩm (dùng tỉ số phân bổ chi phí chung)   
  **OAR = Budgeted overhead / Budgeted activity level**

- Tỉ số phân bổ chi phí chung được tính dựa trên mỗi phòng ban sản xuất (hoặc tính cho toàn bộ hoạt động sản xuất)

 

**Example 1:** Samsung has two service centers serving two production departments. Overhead costs apportioned to each department are as follows:

**After the apportionment of the service centers to the production departments, what will the total overhead cost be for the Mixing and Stirring department direct method of apportionment?**

**Giải:**

**Bước 1: Do không có chi phí trực tiếp nên có thể bỏ qua bước này **

**Bước 2: Phân chia chi phí chung **

Do sử dụng phương pháp Direct method nên ta chỉ cần phân bổ chi phí từ các Service cost center về các Production cost center mà không cần quan tâm là chia Service cost center nào trước. Nên ta sẽ chia lần lượt chi phí sản xuất chung của Stores cost center và Canteen cost center về các phòng Mixing và phòng Stirring, cụ thể như sau:

- **Chi phí chung của Stores cost center**  
  Phòng Stirring và Mixing sử dụng lần lượt là 60% và 30% tổng chi phí dịch vụ được cung cấp từ Stores. Vì sử dụng Direct method nên chi phí chung từ Stores chỉ phân bổ lại vào 2 phòng đó nên tỉ lệ phân bổ sẽ lần lượt là ⅔ \[60%/(60% + 30%\] và ⅓ \[30%/(60% + 30%\]  
    - Chi phí chung được chia đến phòng Mixing: 97,620 \* ⅔ = 65,080
    - Chi phí chung được chia đến phòng Stirring: 97,620 \* ⅓ = 32,540

- **Chi phí chung của Canteen cost center**  
  Phòng Stirring và Mixing sử dụng lần lượt là 40% và 40% tổng chi phí dịch vụ được cung cấp từ Canteen. Vì sử dụng Direct method nên chi phí từ Canteen chỉ phân bổ lại vào 2 phòng đó nên tỉ lệ phân bổ sẽ lần lượt là ½ \[40%/(40% + 40%\] và ½ \[40%/(40% + 40%\] 
    - Chi phí chung được chia đến phòng Mixing: 70,962 \* ½ = 35,481
    - Chi phí chung được chia đến phòng Stirring: 70,962 \* ½ = 35,481

**Bước 3: Phân bổ chi phí vào chi phí sản xuất**

| Chi phí chung được chia từ trung tâm dịch vụ Canteen | 35,481 | 35,481 | - | (70,962) |
| Tổng | 163,211 | 193,321 | 0 | 0 |

### **Dạng 2: Phương pháp chi phí cận biên (Marginal costing) **

**Các công thức bổ trợ:**

- **Contribution = Sales - Variable cost of sales**

- **Contribution margin (per unit) = Selling price (per unit) - Marginal cost (per unit)**

- **Profit = Total contribution – Fixed costs.**

**Lưu ý:**

- Contribution là phần chi phí chênh lệch giữa doanh thu và chi phí biến đổi.
- Đối với phương pháp Marginal costing thì sử dụng Contribution còn Absorption costing thì tính thẳng vào Profit do sử dụng full cost.

**Example 2:** Rain Until September Co makes a product, the Splash, which has a variable production cost of $6 per unit and a sales price of $10 per unit. At the beginning of September 20X0, there were no opening inventories and production during the month was 20,000 units. Fixed costs for the month were $45,000 (production, administration, sales and distribution). There were no variable marketing costs.

**Required: Calculate the contribution and profit for September 20X0, using marginal costing principles, if sales were as follows.**

(a) 10,000 Splashes 

(b) 15,000 Splashes

**Giải:**

a)

- **Xác định giá trị hàng tồn kho cuối kỳ theo Marginal production cost**  
  Do sản phẩm tăng trong tháng là 20,000 sản phẩm, doanh số bán được trong tháng là 10,000 sản phẩm. Vì vậy hàng tồn kho cuối kì là 10,000 sản phẩm (không có hàng tồn kho đầu kỳ). Cùng với đó, chi phí biến đổi để sản xuất ra từng sản phẩm là $6.  
  Vì vậy, giá trị hàng tồn kho cuối kì sẽ là: **Closing inventory = 10,000 \* $6 = $60,000**

- Do loại hình doanh nghiệp là sản xuất sản phẩm nên chi phí biến đổi được tính từ sản xuất sản phẩm tức là sản phẩm tăng trong kì sản xuất. Vì vậy,   
  **Variable product cost = Marginal cost \* Increase product = 20,000 \* $6 = $120,000**
- Do sử dụng phương pháp Marginal costing nên chi phí biến đổi được tính thẳng vào giá thành sản phẩm nên   
  **Cost of sales = Variable product cost - Closing inventory = $120,000 - $60,000 = $60,000**
- Để tính doanh thu (sales) thì ta lấy số lượng sản phẩm bán ra đem nhân với giá bán (selling price)  
  **Sales = Product units \* Selling price = 10,000 \* $10 = $100,000**
- Khi đã có doanh thu thì ta cần tính Contribution (lãi trên biến phí)  
  **Contribution = Sales - Cost of sales = $100,000 - $60,000 = $40,000**

- **Fixed cost = $45,000** (đề bài cho)  (Chi phí cố định được tính vào chi phí trong kỳ)

Từ đó, **Profit = Contribution - Fixed cost = $40,000 - $45,000 = ($5,000)**

 

b)

**Cách tính tương tự câu a) ta được**

- **Xác định giá trị hàng tồn kho cuối kỳ theo Marginal production cost **  
  Do sản phẩm tăng trong tháng là 20,000 sản phẩm, doanh số bán được trong tháng là 15,000 sản phẩm vì vậy hàng tồn kho cuối kì là 5,000 sản phẩm (không có hàng tồn kho đầu kỳ). Cùng với đó, chi phí biến đổi để sản xuất ra từng sản phẩm là $6.  
  Vì vậy, giá trị hàng tồn kho cuối kì sẽ là: **Closing inventory = 5,000 \* $6 = $30,000**
- Do loại hình doanh nghiệp là sản xuất sản phẩm nên chi phí biến đổi được tính từ sản xuất sản phẩm tức là sản phẩm tăng trong kì sản xuất. Vì vậy,   
  **Variable product cost = Variable cost  \* Increase product = 20,000 \* $6 = $120,000**
- Do sử dụng phương pháp Marginal costing nên chi phí biến đổi được tính thẳng vào giá thành sản phẩm nên   
  **Cost of sales = Product cost - Closing inventory = $120,000 - $30,000 = $90,000**
- Để tính doanh thu (sales) thì ta lấy số lượng sản phẩm bán ra đem nhân với giá bán (selling price)  
  **Sales = Production unit \* selling price = 15,000 \* $10 = $150,000**
- Khi đã có doanh thu thì ta cần tính Contribution (lãi trên biến phí)  
  **Contribution = Sales - Cost of sales = $150,000 - $90,000 = $60,000**

- **Fixed cost = $45,000** (đề bài cho) (Chi phí cố định được tính vào chi phí trong kỳ)

Từ đó, **Profit = Contribution - Fixed cost = $60,000 - $45,000 = $15,000**

Để so sánh lợi nhuận thu được khi bán được số lượng sản phẩm khác nhau ta được bảng sau:

| Less: Closing inventory | 60,000 |   | 30,000 |   |
| Variable cost of sales |   | 60,000 |   | 90,000 |
| Contribution |   | 40,000 |   | 60,000 |
| *Less: Fixed cost* |   | 45,000 |   | 45,000 |
| **Profit (loss)** |   | **(5,000)** |   | **15,000** |

Từ phương pháp trên cho ta thấy nếu quản trị hàng tồn kho không hiệu quả có thể dẫn đến lợi nhuận của doanh nghiệp bị giảm.
